Sacrament Protocols

The parish of St. Sophia follows all pastoral and administrative guidelines for marriages and baptisms as set forth by the Metropolis of Denver diocese and the Archdiocese of North America. As such, there are a few steps involved in scheduling a marriage or baptism at St. Sophia. The information below serves as a summary of the steps that individuals and families should follow. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Marriage

1. Please review and make sure both individuals meet the Guidelines for the Mystery of Marriage.
2. Download and fill out this Check List form (see Page 2-19) and email to office@stsophiagoc.org.
3. Provide a preferred date for the wedding. If the church is available, a placeholder will be put on the calendar until all information is reviewed and your date is finalized.

Baptism & Chrismation

1. Review the information on Guidesline for the Mystery of Baptism & Chrismation and email documents to office@stsophiagoc.org.
2. Provide a preferred date for the baptism. If the church is available, a placeholder will be put on the calendar until all information is reviewed and your date is finalized.
